Need a New Year’s Resolution?

“This is the beginning of 30 days of honest questions and sincere listening….” (Austin Evans, re: Live Dead 30-Day Challenge)

I’m not one for New Year’s Resolutions so much. I do like to challenge myself to try new things each year.

In 2010 it was to send more notes and treats to friends near and far (which has become a very fun part of my life).

In 2011 it was to run a half-marathon (I did two and found myself becoming a permanent runner).

In 2012, it’s to live dead. This isn’t even about living dead for my upcoming work with Global Initiative, although of course it’ll be helpful. But it is about less of me and more of God, to rejoice in all things for the glory of God.
