Time to go!

I and eight young ladies head to NYC on Saturday. We’ll spend the week (March 1–8) working with the South Asian Center in Jackson Heights (Queens) and the West African Center in Brooklyn, helping with ESL classes and homework clubs. We’ll also explore the history of immigration in America even as we serve today’s immigrants. Please keep us in your prayers.

In September…

School started in September and so did our mobilization team trips to college campuses. My campus visits included Massachusetts and North Dakota.

Northpoint Bible College // Haverhill, MA

I had the opportunity to speak in a couple classes, sharing some of my story and the exposure trip opportunities we have in 2014. One of the girls from our trip to Madrid, Vanessa (previously a student at Northpoint) joined me to share about her experience in Madrid and how to changed her course. It was fun to reunite with her and to see how her story impacted her friends and fellow students.

Trinity Bible College // Ellendale, ND
From Massachusetts I traveled to North Dakota to join Trinity Bible College during GO Week, its 1262838_198450883659727_625287393_oweek of missions focus. The week was filled with promoting 2014 trips and challenging students to think about the lost, not the where of missions but the who.

One highlight for me was spending the afternoon with the new “Pack Your Bags” program now on campus. PYB is a eight-month missions-based mentorship program that includes training and mission trips. I had the chance to share my journey as well as answer questions.
